Okay. Don't let the name of the sauces deceive you. You must apply all the sauces out in the front for your hot dog!!!

When i first ordered my hot dog, i just wanted it plain, ketchup with mustard on it. But then i see all these people putting spicy sriracha and some other kinds of sauces on it so i got tempted to try little bit of it.

Damn. I already ate half before i applied the sauce so i didn't get to experience the flavor to the fullest. As soon as i took the bite of tiny bit of every sauces, i immediately spread it all over my remaining hot dog.

Don't ask and don't think of it too much. Just put it on even if it doesn't sound like a nice combination - it will blow your mind.

I tried cheese toast , hot dog and something else.
I used to like those so much but they cook so oily.
Bread of toast is soooo greasy and flour of hot dog as well. I ask them to change only bread Wich is uncook. he said we don't have it . They just put every bread into butter soup and fried..? That's  radiculous. I won't be back here.

Came here for a quick bite to eat since we were doing some grocery shopping at H mart. To be honest, I don't think this is really worth a trip out here and is probably still open due to convenience.  One of the things we ordered really stood out or were that good. Probably recommend checking out one of the many other dining options in this plaza.

For what it is, it's good.  It's fun and unusual.  We made a special trip to give Kosteat a try after a YouTuber shared her favorite Korean places in LA.  Happy we did.  It might be one of the most fun food outings we've done in the City of Angels.

We ordered a sampling of their menu items to get an idea of what it was all about.

I thought the corn dog with sausage inside and diced potatoes on the outside (fried into the corn dog batter) was a crazy concoction but to my chagrin it was tasty.  The employee asked if I wanted sugar on the outside and that caught me off guard but he said it was popular.  When in Rome.  It (was) delicious and a unique surprise.  I chose the spicy mayo (also per his suggestion) for my corn dog and it took the flavor combination to an out of this world level.  Yum!

The cheese toast might have been my favorite thing we tried but not discounting all of it because everything we ordered was good.  The cheese toast was white toast folded up like a taco filled with egg and cheese and other ingredients that gave it good flavor.  You get two pieces per order.  It's filling.  Could have shared based on the amount of other things we ordered.

The Soddunk--alternating pieces of rice cake and miniature sausage on a stick covered in a reduced sauce that is on the sticky side were good.  My dining guest really liked them.  I thought the bit of crunchiness on the rice cake was a nice touch.  One order is two skewers.

The honey and nuts pocket was a sweet dish but not too sweet.  One per order.  I considered the red bean filled pocket but the employee assisting us said the honey and nuts was the most popular among the locals.  This is a fried pocket.  I can see how it could absorb the grease quickly if not eaten in a timely manner.  That's after it cools down a bit.  It came out piping hot.

The young, male employee who assisted us was very friendly and helpful.  When I thanked him for all of his assistance he smiled and said, It's my job.  He knows what customer service is!

Kosteat is a fun dining experience.  I wouldn't want it often because it's too heavy.  I'm glad we tried it.  The mall it's located in has some cool places to look through.  It adds to the experience.

    Way to go, Kosteat!
